NEET 2017: List of Andhra Pradesh rankers released at ntruhs.ap.nic.in

Andhra Pradesh has to contribute 15 per cent of the total seats for the MBBS and BDS courses if it wishes to get an equal quota in other states. However, until the Presidential Order is amended, both the states can not participate in the national pool.

Health Minister Kamineni Srinivas released the list of NEET (National Eligibility – cum – Entrance Test) rankers in the MBBS and BDS courses from Andhra Pradesh (A.P.), at Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences (NTRUHS) here on Sunday.
With a score of 685 out of 700, Narreddy Manvitha stood first in A.P. and secured 14th rank at the national level.
The other successful candidates from A.P. in top 10 with NEET ranks are: Pavuluri Sai Swetha (36), Balantrapu Phani Sri Lasya (51), G. Manoj Pavan Reddy (59), Dokku Vamsi Krishna (73), Viswanadhuni Chaitanya Gopal (74), Jytri Veeramachaneni (90), Nallamilli Satvika Reddy (94), Pavan Kumar Krishnapur (107), and Motilal Singupuram (113).
Addressing media persons, Dr. Srinivas said of the 6 lakh-plus candidates who qualified in the country, 32,392 belong to A.P. and 27,075 are from Telangana.

Notifications

Separate notifications for conducting admissions to 2,927 convener, 730 management and 343 NRI quota seats would be issued from July 3.
Dr. Srinivas said now that the NEET results have been announced, the A.P. government would present its case for inclusion in the National Pool of medical seats to the Medical Council of India (MCI).
A.P. has to contribute 15% of the total seats to the pool if it is to be given an equal quota in other States but until the Presidential Order is amended, A.P. and also Telangana can neither join the national pool to get medical seats elsewhere nor offer seats to students from other States.
Minister for Social and Tribal Welfare Nakka Ananda Babu and NTRUHS Vice-Chancellor T. Ravi Raju, Registrar S. Appala Naidu were present.
The list of NEET (National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test) rankers from Andhra Pradesh has been released and the successful candidates can check their names on the official website – ntruhs.ap.nic.in. The list was announced by Health Minister Kamineni Srinivas of the Dr NTR University of Health Sciences (NTRUHS) on Sunday.
About 6 lakh-plus candidates who qualified for the NEET 2017 across the nation, 32,392 are from Andhra Pradesh while 27,075 are from Telangana. Narreddy Manvitha has bagged the first position from the state by scoring 685 out of 700 and secured 14th rank at the national level.
As per The Hindu, the final merit position will be displayed only after submission of online application in response to the university notification and after verfication of original certificates.

The counselling of NEET 2017 for All India Quota will be conducted for to allot about 13,000 MBBS and BDS seats. States will be conducting separate two-round counselling process for admission to state quota seats in government and private colleges.
