Last Model In Ducati Series With That Engine - Ducati 1299 Panigale R Final Edition Launched In India At ₹ 59.18 Lakh

The Ducati 1299 Panigale R Final Edition has been launched in India at Rs. 59.18 lakh. All the units of the motorcycle will be manufactured with a serial number. The motorcycle gets top quality parts and electronics along with WSBK spec racing derived chassis and brakes setup as well.

Ducati 1299 Panigale R Final Edition, the Italian company has now launched the same in India at ₹ 59.18 lakh (Ex-showroom, Delhi). As the name suggests, the 1299 Panigale R Final Edition will be the last Ducati production superbike to have an L-twin engine, before the company moves to V4 engines. The company calls it as a 'celebration of the twin cylinder Ducati Superbike legacy'. The 1299 Panigale R Final Edition wears 'Ducati's celebratory livery and also each of the models will have a progressive number that is billeted on the top yoke. The bike is homage of sorts to Ducati's superbike tradition.

As far as engine and performance goes, needless to say that the bike gets top draw bits. It gets a racing-derived chassis along with a mad Superquadro L-twin engine which displaces 1,285 cc. The engine itself belts out a massive 206.5 bhp and pumps out 142 Nm of peak torque. Mated to a 6-speed gearbox, the 1299 Panigale R benefits from a quick-shifter along with loads of electronics such as ABS (anti-lock brakes), traction control, engine brake control, wheelie control, cornering ABS and the list goes on. The cycle parts too are top draw with Ohlins suspension at both ends, Brembo brakes, Pirelli Diablo SuperCorsa SP tyres, colour TFT display and so on. The engine components such as con rods and valves are made of Titanium while the balancer pads are made of Tungsten.

The Ducati 1299 Panigale R Final Edition is a proper collectors' item and while Ducati has said that the motorcycle will not be limited in production, you can bet that you will be lucky to see one on the roads.
