AIRLANDER 10 IS THE LARGEST AIRCRAFT CURRENTLY FLYING
THE LENGTH OF AIRLANDER 10 IS 92 METRES
At a mammoth 302 feet long,the blimp-like Airlander 10 is the largest aircraft currently flying, On May 10 the Airlander 10 flew for a total of 180 minutes, to test the aircrafts handling , landing technology and more.
THIRD TIME
Airlander 10 again continues its flight test program after crashing last year (second test flight), during it's second test flight the world's largest aircraft crashed because of it got caught in power lines.
Airlander 10's cockpit took the brunt of the impact but no-one was injured in the crash at Cardington Airfield,Bedfrdshire,On August 24 last year
Airlander 10 is successfully flew for the first time in 2012 ,as part of the Army's long endurance multi-intelligance vehicle programme and now it is third time for Airlander 10 ,on May 10

ENGINEERS SPENT THREE YEARS WORKING ON THE AIRLANDER 10, WHICH IS FILLED WITH 1.3 MILLION CUBIC FEET OF HELIUM, IT IS EQUAL TO FILL 15 OLYMPIC-SIZED SWIMMING POOLS
Auxillary Landing System ,which allows the aircraft to land safely at a greater range of attitudes has been installed for Airlander 10.
it will be able to stay airborne at heights of up to 20,000 feet ,with a ten-tonne cargo for two weeks at a time to speeds of up to 90mph.
HYBRID AIR VEHICLES (HAV),WHICH MADE AIRLANDER 10,HOPES TO BE BUILDING 10 AIRLANDERS A YEAR BY 2021.
The HAV hopes to have an even bigger aircraft,capable of carrying 50 metric tons ,it is equal to 110,000 pounds , in service by the early 2020's
