Sridevi's New film Mom, which has music by A.R.Rahman has been certified with a U/A certificate, and the film is gearing up for its release on 7th July. Reportedly, the censor board has appreciated the ace actress for her phenomenal performance.
-->the Central Board of Film Certification has granted U/A certificate to ‘MOM’. Apparently the authorities are highly impressed with Sridevi’s performance, and they have compared her character to that of Nargis’ from ‘Mother India.’
“Srideviji’s performance in ‘MOM’ has the same impact as Nargisji in ‘Mother India’. They both define motherhood and the ingrained sacrifices that a mother makes for a child. I’d go as far as to say Mom is the contemporary ‘Mother India’. There will not be one dry eye in the theatres when the film opens”, said Pahlaj Nihalani to a daily.
