Donald Trump Ready For War To 'Destroy' North Korea: US Senator - WAR ON KOREA - LATEST WORLD UPADTES

Influential lawmaker Lindsey Graham, a foreign policy hawk, told NBC's Today Show: "There is a military option: To destroy North Korea's program and North Korea itself."

WASHINGTON:  A Republican senator said Tuesday that US President Donald Trump has told him he would go to war to destroy North Korea rather than allow it to develop a long-range nuclear-armed missile.

Influential lawmaker Lindsey Graham, a foreign policy hawk, told NBC's Today Show: "There is a military option: To destroy North Korea's program and North Korea itself."

Last week, North Korean leader Kim Jong-Un boasted that his country could now strike any target in the United States after carrying out its latest intercontinental ballistic missile test.

World powers have been trying to stifle Pyongyang's weapons programme through United Nations-backed sanctions, but have failed to daunt the regime and Washington is growing frustrated.

Graham said that if diplomacy, and in particular pressure from the North's neighbor China, fails to halt the program then the United States will have no choice but to take devastating military action.

"They've kicked the can down the road for 20 years. There will be a war with North Korea over the missile program if they continue to try to hit America with an ICBM," he said, describing his discussions with Trump.

"He's told me that. I believe him. If I were China, I would believe him, too, and do something about it. You can stop North Korea, militarily or diplomatically.

"I prefer the diplomatic approach. But they will not be allowed to have a missile to hit America with a nuclear weapon on top."

7th Pay Commission: Increase in central government employees' pay to reflect in July salary - Govt Employees to Get Revised Allowances Today, 7th CPC For Teachers Soon

The complete benefits of Seventh Central Pay Commission will reflect in the salaries of central government employees from July onwards. The government is likely to notify the Cabinet decision on allowance hike this week, reports suggest.
The chnages will be effective from July 1, 2017 and will benefit 48 lakh employees in total, 34 lakh civilian employees and 14 lakh military employees.
The Union Cabinet approved the reforms in allowance structure for central government employees on June 28, which will be put into effect after it is notified in the Official Gazette. The Cabinet had given the green flag to the hike in salaries and pensions ofr central government employees last year in August, but stepped back on allowances considering the extensive modifications suggested by the pay panel.
The Cabinet also retained 12 allowances out of 53 allowances that the pay panel recommended to be abolished. Three out of 37 allowances, that the 7th Pay Commission suggested to be subsumed with another allowances, will continue as separate entities on account of their unique nature.
In its decision, the Cabinet has approved higher allowance rates in most cases except House Rent Allowance (HRA), which forms a substantial part of the central government employees' salaries. HRA will now be be paid at 24 per cent, 16 per cent and 8 per cent for Class X, Y, and Z cities respectively.
Even with the decline in HRA rates the central government employees will see a hike in allowances owing to the increase in their basic pay implemented under 7th Pay Commission.
The Cabinet approved HRA at 24 per cent, 16 per cent and 8 per cent of basic pay for Class X, Y and Z cities respectively. It will not be less than Rs 5,400, Rs 3,600 and Rs 1,800 every month calculated at 30 per cent, 20 per cent and 10 per cent of minimum pay of Rs 18,000.
These rates will be revised to 27 per cent, 18 per cent and 9 per cent when Dearness Allowance crosses 50 per cent, and then to 30 per cent, 20 per cent, 10 per cent then it goves over 100 per cent, benefiting more than 7.5 lakh employees.
Allowances paid under Siachen Allowance have been increased to Rs 30,000 per month for soldiers and Rs 42,500 per month for Army officers for extreme risk and hardship. Earlier Rs 14,000 were paid to soldiers and Rs 21,000 to officers every month under this head.
The Union Cabinet increased Fixed Medical Allowance for pensioners to Rs 1,000 per month from Rs 500 per month that was paid earlier. Constant Attendance Allowance on 100 per cent disablement has also been increased from Rs 4,500 to Rs 6,750 per month.
Nursing Allowance has been increased to Rs 7,200 per month from Rs 4,800 per month, whereas Operation Theatre Allowance has been hiked to Rs 540 per month. Hospital Patient Care Allowance/Patient Care Allowance (HPCA/PCA) will now be Rs 4,100 to Rs 5,300 per month.

With the new allowance structure, the 7th Pay Commission had predicted the combined additional financial implication at Rs 30.8 thousand crore per annum. The Justice AK Mathur-led pay panel had also recommended revised allowance rates proportionate to DA paid to central government employees.

The government issued a notification on implementation of higher allowances under the 7th Pay Commission on July 7.

Central government employees will receive their revised salary and allowances, under the 7th Pay Commission (7th CPC), today. Notifying the higher allowances, as per the recommendations of the 7th Pay Commission, the government asked central ministries and department to ensure the revised rates of allowances are paid with July salary. Meanwhile, the government will soon announce 7th Pay Commission for teachers in the country. The government also released the guidelines for fixation of pay of candidates working in the public sector undertakings.
The government issued a notification on implementation of higher allowances under the 7th Pay Commission on July 7. This came after 12 months when the government approved 7th Pay Commission recommendations on salary hike. The list of allowances, recommended by the 7th Pay Commission, has 197 allowances, which include unusual ones like Cycle Allowances, Toilet Soap Allowance, Briefcase Allowance and Secret Allowance.

Under the 7th Pay commission, there is reduction in the existing HRA rates to 24 per cent for X, 16 per cent for Y and 8 per cent for Z category cities. As the HRA at the reduced rates may not be sufficient for employees falling in the lower pay bracket, it has been decided that HRA shall not be less than Rs 5,400, Rs 3,600 and Rs 1,800 for X, Y and Z category of cities respectively. This floor rate has been calculated at the rate of 30 per cent, 20 per cent and 10 per cent of the minimum pay of Rs 18,000.

Around 48 lakh central government employees will now receive the revised allowances from July salary as per the recommendations of the 7th Pay Commission. The Finance Ministry has also published the list of allowances, recommended by the 7th Pay Commission.

7th CPC For Teachers:
Speaking at the National Convention on Higher Education Perspectives in India, Union Minister Prakash Javadekar said the government will soon announce 7th Pay Commission for teachers. The minister also assured to bring transparency in teachers’ appointment in the universities, especially in Delhi University, within a year.

Secret Superstar first poster: Zaira Wasim is on her way to freedom. Is this Aamir Khan’s next blockbuster? See photo

The first poster of the Aamir Khan's Secret Superstar has been shared online with the announcement that the trailer will release on August 2. Featuring Dangal girl Zaira Wasim in a school dress and walking on a road where trees have music notes instead of leaves, the poster looks intriguing.

Aamir Khan’s big Diwali release Secret Superstar has been creating a lot of buzz ever since its teaser released last year. Now, the first poster of the film has been shared online with the announcement that the trailer will release on August 2. Featuring Dangal girl Zaira Wasim in a school dress and walking on a road where trees have music notes instead of leaves, the poster looks intriguing.
Secret Superstar is the story of a small-town girl who wants to be a world-famous singer but what comes in her way is her own father. But she does not succumb, not completely anyway. Wearing a hijab and refusing to display her name, the little girl resorts to uploading her work on YouTube, and obviously becomes a sensation.
Mr Perfectionist Aamir himself has called the film a superhit and how can we not agree! Last seen in Dangal, Aamir plays her mentor-rockstar in the film, and together with his blonde spikes, it looks like the audience is in for a surprise this time too.
Here is the speculated look of Aamir Khan in the movie but makers have refused to confirm.

The poster also takes us back to Aamir Khan’s superhit film, Taare Zameen Par where in he helps a dyslexic Ishaan, played by Darsheel Safari, realise his dreams. But looking at the teaser, it is obvious that Aamir Khan’s two characters in the movies are going to be poles apart.

True to its name, the project was kept a secret till the picture of Aamir’s new look landed with indianexpress.com a few months ago. Soon enough, the teaser was released online and created a storm. The film was earlier supposed to release on August 4 but now it will release on the Diwali weekend. There have been talks that it will release alongside Akshay Kumar-Rajinikanth starrer 2.0 and we are anxiously waiting for this blockbuster festive weekend.
