ONE HOUR TO GO-PSLV -C38 MISSION-THE ROCKET IS SCHEDULED TO LAUNCH AT 9.29 AM-PSLV WILL LOCK HEAVY WEIGHT CARTOSAT-2 INTO ORBIT TODAY-ISRO LATEST UPDATES-ISRO LATEST PSLV VEHICLE-LATEST MISSION FROM ISRO

ISRO PSLV -C 38 LAUNCH
THE ROCKET CARRYS 31 SATELLITES IN TO ORBIT
At 9.29 am today, ISRO (Indian Space Research Organisation) will launch the PSLV-C38 rocket on a mission to put 31 satellites into orbit. The launch will happen from the First Launch Pad of the Satish Dhawan Space Centre. The workhorse of the Indian space program, the PSLV has proven to be India’s most reliable, space worthy rocket.
The rocket will carry satellites from all over the world, including satellites from Austria, Chile, Germany, Japan, UK and USA. In total, the payload to be taken to orbit weighs in at 955 kg.
The rocket will be launched in an ‘XL’ configuration and will be its 40th launch since it was put into service.
The primary mission of the satellite is to put a CartoSat 2 series satellite into orbit. The most recent satellite in the series was launched on the PSLV-C37 mission, which placed a Record breaking 104 satellites into orbit on 15 February, 2017.
Another Indian satellite on board the rocket is the NIUSAT MARK I, a 15 kg satellite from the Noorul Islam University. This satellite features an RGB multispectral camera and a short-wave infrared camera. It will support disaster relief operations.
Eight of the remaining satellites are part of the QB50 swarm of cubesats which will be launched in a sun-synchronous orbit at an altitude of 500 km.

It will be the 17th flight of the four-stage PSLV in the extended version with strap-on motors

The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) is all set for the launch of the Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle carrying the Cartosat-2 series satellite, along with 30 co-passenger satellites on Friday morning.
The 28-hour countdown for the PSLV- C38 mission began at 5.29 a.m. on Thursday at the Satish Dhawan Space Centre, Sriharikota.
It will be the 17th flight of the four-stage PSLV in the XL (extended) version with strap-on motors.
The rocket weighing 320 tonnes at lift-off uses solid propellant for the first and third stage and the strap-ons, while the second and fourth stage use liquid propellant.

30 other satellites

The 31 satellites, together weighing 955 kg, will be lifted into a 505-km polar sun synchronous orbit.
“This will be the second highest number of satellites to be launched by ISRO using a single rocket”, says PSLV project director B. Jayakumar. In February this year, the PSLV-C37 mission launched 104 satellites into orbit, in a milestone achievement.
The Cartosat-2 earth observation satellite, weighing 712 kg, is the primary payload aboard PSLV-C38 and will be the first to be injected into orbit, 16 minutes from lift-off. The imagery provided by the satellite will be used for cartographic applications, coastal land use and regulation, road network monitoring, water distribution, land use mapping and geographical information system applications.
Cartosat-2 is designed for a lifespan of five years, according to ISRO.

14 countries

The PSLV-C38 payload includes a nano satellite designed and developed by the Noorul Islam University in Kanyakumari district.
The rest of the payload comprises 29 nano satellites from 14 countries — Austria, Belgium, Chile, the Czech republic, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Latvia, Lithuania, Slovakia, United Kingdom and the U.S.
They are being launched as part of the commercial pact between the Antrix Corporation, the commercial arm of ISRO, and the international customers.

ISIS Destroys 800 Years Old Mosque in Mosul-ISIS attack on Devotional lands-ISIS Continues it's attack on Famous Places

BEFORE BLAST -AFTER BLAST

The militants blew up the mosque and its minaret as Iraqi forces came within about 50 yards of the building, according to Iraq's joint operations command, which published a video that appeared to back up its claim, showing a blast emanating from the complex.
The Islamic State's Amaq News Agency contended that the mosque was destroyed in a U.S. airstrike, which the U.S.-led coalition denied.
"We can confirm that the al-Nuri mosque was destroyed," said Col. Ryan Dillon, a spokesman for the U.S.-led coalition. "It was not as a result of coalition strikes. We did not strike in that area this evening."
Over the past eight months, Iraqi security forces have slowly squeezed Islamic State militants into Mosul's historic city center, around a square mile of territory on the banks of the Tigris. The city's most symbolic landmark, the Great Mosque of al-Nuri, was tantalizingly near.
It was in the mosque that Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, the Islamic State's leader, made his only public appearance three years ago, declaring himself "commander of the faithful" and calling on all Muslims to travel to the group's self-declared caliphate.
A month later, some Mosul residents said that the militants rigged the 50-yard-high Hadba with explosives as part of a campaign to destroy anything that may be considered idolatrous. It was only saved by incensed residents who gathered around it to protest.
Iraqi Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi said the destruction of the sites was "an official declaration of defeat" from the jihadists in the eight-month-old battle for Mosul.
"Our forces were advancing toward their targets deep in the Old City and when they got to within 50 metres (yards) of the Nuri mosque, Daesh (IS) committed another historical crime by blowing up the Nuri mosque and the Hadba" mosque, Staff Lieutenant General Abdulamir Yarallah, the overall commander of the Mosul offensive, said in a statement.
The destruction of two of Mosul's best-known landmarks comes on the fourth day of an Iraqi offensive backed by the US-led coalition to take the Old City, where holdout jihadists are making a bloody last stand.
It adds to a long list of Iraqi heritage sites and monuments the jihadist organisation has destroyed in Iraq and Syria since Baghdadi created his "caliphate" straddling both countries, almost exactly three years ago.
IS proclaimed its self-styled "caliphate" in June 2014, after sweeping across Iraq's Sunni Arab heartland, an unprecedented experiment in jihadist statehood.
The Iraq-born Baghdadi appeared at the Nuri mosque in Mosul, Iraq's second city, days later to declare himself "caliph" and urge the world's Muslims to move in.
It remains the last public appearance to date for the jihadist supremo, whose fate and whereabouts are currently unclear and whose "state" has been shrinking for two years.
- 'Iraq's Tower of Pisa' -
Iraqi forces on Sunday launched an assault on the Old City of Mosul, eight months into a huge offensive to wrest back the northern city from the jihadists, who had made it their de facto Iraqi capital.
The ancient minaret known as "Al-Hadba" (Hunchback) lies next to the Nuri mosque and was the most loved and recognisable landmark in Mosul, sometimes referred to as Iraq's Tower of Pisa.
The mosque was named after Nuruddin al‑Zanki, a noble who fought the early crusaders from a fiefdom that covered territory in modern-day Turkey, Syria and Iraq. The mosque was built almost 800 years ago in 1172-73, shortly before his death, and housed an Islamic school.
The minaret, with its unmistakeable shape, was the symbol of the city and featured in many local shops signs and advertisements. It gave its name to countless restaurants, companies and sports clubs.
When IS imposed its tyrannic brand of sharia, or Islamic law, in the early stages of its "caliphate", it destroyed several key heritage sites in Mosul, including the main museum and shrines to Jonah and Seth.
It reportedly rigged the "Hadba", which it sees as the subject of a cult that transgresses its own regressive and ultra-conservative brand of Islam, but had been prevented from blowing it up by the local population.
- Foretold disaster -
"The minaret of Al-Hadba has been here forever, it is part of the history of Mosul, it is the symbol of the city," Ahmed Thilij Hamed, a 49-year-old resident of a neighbourhood near the Old City, told AFP on Monday.
It had become clear to most in Mosul that IS would not give up its last redoubt in the city without destroying landmarks whose capture by the Iraqi forces would have dealt them a massive symbolic blow.
"When the minaret is destroyed, it will be the final blow to Mosul's heritage because all the other landmarks are gone," Hamed said. "I will be very sorry, I cannot imagine such a moment."
Staff Lieutenant General Abdulwahab al-Saadi, one of the top commanders of the Counter-Terrorism Service that has spearheaded the fighting against IS, explained why he thought the Nuri mosque and nearby "Al-Hadba" would almost inevitably be destroyed.
"The mosque has some symbolism for the terrorist gangs, being the mosque where Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi gave his first sermon" as IS leader, he told AFP on Monday from his command post on the edge of Mosul.
"Perhaps they won't want to leave this place that Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi took to the security forces and maybe they'll send a message accusing Iraqi units of of destroying them," he predicted.
The US-led coalition which carries out daily air strikes and has advisers on the ground supporting the Mosul operation condemned the destruction.
"This is a crime against the people of Mosul and all of Iraq, and is an example of why this brutal organization must be annihilated," said Major General Joseph Martin.
The Great Nur al-Din Mosque
  • Built by the Seljuk ruler Nur al-Din al-Zangi Atabeg
  • Completed in 1172
  • Most notable feature: Al Hadba minaret, which leans 253 centimeters (100 inches)
  • Minaret was given its nickname by the time famous traveler Ibn Battutah, who visited Mosul in the 14th century
  • Mosque was dismantled and reassembled in 1942, but minaret remained one of the few original elements

FACEBOOK INTRODUCES NEW TOOL - FACEBOOK LAUNCHES NEW SECURITY APPLICATION-FACEBOOK LATEST-LATEST APPLICATION FROM FACEBOOK-FACEBOOK GET NEW TOOL TO PROTECT PROFILE PICTURES OF FACEBOOK ACCOUNT

Facebook Introduces New Tool to protect the profile pictures of Indian Women.

if you apply this new tool to your facebook profile picture, the result is, the remaining facebook user's & you to can't download ,share, tag, and screenshot of your facebook profile picture

SAN FRANCISCO/NEW DELHI: In its bid to empower Women in India, Facebook has announced it is piloting new tools that will give them more control over who can download and share their profile pictures that include their faces.

"In our research with People and safety organisations in India, we have heard that some women choose not to share profile pictures that include their faces anywhere on the internet because they are concerned about what may happen to their photos," said Aarati Soman, Product Manager at Facebook, in a post on Wednesday.

Based on what it learns from the experience in India, the Socialmedia giant hopes to expand the feature to other countries soon.

In addition, the company is exploring ways people could more easily add designs to profile pictures, which Facebook research has shown helpful in deterring misuse.

These tools, developed in partnership with Indian safety organisations like Centre for Social Research, Learning Links Foundation, Breakthrough and Youth Ki Awaaz are designed to give people more control over their experience and help keep them safe online.

From now on, people in India would start seeing a step-by-step guide to add an optional profile picture guard.

"Other people will no longer be able to download, share or send your profile picture in a message on Facebook. People you are not friends with on Facebook won't be able to tag anyone, including themselves, in your profile picture," Soman clarified.

Where possible, Facebook would prevent others from taking a screenshot of a profile picture on Facebook -- the feature currently available only on Android devices.

The company would also display a blue border and shield around profile picture as a visual cue of protection deterring misuse.

Facebook also partnered with Jessica Singh, an illustrator who took inspiration from traditional Indian textile designs such as bandhni and kantha, to create designs for people to add to their profile picture.

"Based on preliminary tests, we've learned that when someone adds an extra design layer to their profile picture, other people are at least 75 per cent less likely to copy that picture," Soman said.

If someone suspects that a picture marked with one of these designs is being misused, they can report it to Facebook and we will use the design to help determine whether it should be removed from our community, she added.

SOLAR CHICKEN-WE ALL KNOW THE DISH Chicken Very well- we know solar charging also-But what is this Solar Chicken-Do you ever eat this Solar Chicken,if you not yet,THIS IS TIME-First know about what is solar chicken and How it Made-One Man is Roasting Chicken for 20 years by solar pannels-Watch The Video

One Man has been roasting Chicken with Sun Light for 20 Years.
he use's 1000 mobile mirror's for to roast the chicken.
he cooks at 300 degrees.
Cooking with Natural Sunlight.

Sila Sutharat, a roasted chicken street vendor from Phetchaburi, Thailand, has come up with an ingenious way of cooking chicken. Instead of an oven or a charcoal barbecue, he uses 1,000 mobile mirrors that concentrate sunlight into a strong beam.
He basically cooks meat with over 300 degrees Celsius of natural sunlight.
Like most other street vendors, Sila used to cook his chicken over a charcoal fire, but that all changed in 1997, when a mundane observation gave him a brilliant idea.
One day, he was hit by the sunlight reflected off the window of a passing bus, and he felt its heat. “I could possibly change it into energy,” Sila told himself, and started working on a contraption to capture the sunlight and use it to cook his chicken.
“They said that I’d gone mad, that cooking chicken like this was impossible,” Sutharat told AFP about how people reacted to his idea.
But he didn’t let their jokes and insults get to him, and in the end he was the one who had the last laugh. His invention, a panel featuring 1,000 small, movable mirrors worked exactly as he predicted, allowing him to cook a 1.5 kg chicken in just 10 to 15 minutes.
“After a long time passed by, they’d say: ‘Actually, you could do it’,” the vendor recalls. The curbed metal frame to which the mirrors are attached concentrate sunlight onto a rotating row of marinated chickens. In just a few minutes, the meat and skin starts to sizzle.
Suthrat claims that his invention can generate up to 312 degrees Celsius, which is why he always wears a welder’s mask instead of a cook’s hat, when operating it.
Sila’s solar roaster is an unusual sight that has attracted quite a few curious clients eager to taste Sila’s sun-cooked chicken.
He’s been using this sustainable cooking method for two decades now, and claims it’s much better than traditional roasting methods. It’s virtually free, cooks the chicken evenly, and best of all, it’s 100% clean.
The Phetchaburi Rajabhat University acknowledged Sila’s ingenious idea and awarded him an honorary science degree.
